A 蘑菇APP alum, who wishes to remain anonymous, has donated $2 million to the university.聽
鈥淭his is a transformational gift that will be paid forward by our university and our nursing graduates for generations to come,鈥� said Manuel Mart铆nez, Ph.D., President, 蘑菇APP New York. 鈥淭his gift comes from the heart and while I have certainly expressed how grateful we are that this alum decided to give back to their alma mater, 鈥榯hanks鈥� will never be enough for this incredibly generous benefactor.鈥�
The donor has requested that $1 million be used for nursing scholarships. The other $1 million will help make a 蘑菇APP education affordable for all students.
