A day to celebrate our Dominican heritage, honor those who carry our mission forward, welcome our newest students into the academic community, and put our shared values into action.

Founders Day brings the Ä¢¹½APP community together to reflect on the traditions that shaped our University and the responsibility we share to carry that legacy forward. Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate throughout the day.

In **Faith, Justice, and the Dominican Call to Preach**, Sister Ana Gonzalez, OP, will explore how faith calls us beyond reflection and into action. Connecting Dominican tradition with Latino heritage, she will challenge us to consider how we stand with the vulnerable and carry a commitment to justice into the future.

A celebration of alumni who continue to bring Ä¢¹½APP's mission to life. Kyle Souza graduated in 2019 at the top of his class with a B.A in Criminal Justice. Today, Kyle is an associate within the Personal Injury Practice Group at ZNC Law in New Haven, Connecticut.
Afterwards, we will announce the winners of the 2026 Spirit of the Founders Award.

Join us for a full weekend of campus activities, family traditions, fall fun, and Charger pride from Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Registration opens Monday, August 3 at 12:00 p.m.

The full weekend schedule and registration details will be available soon. Families are encouraged to save the date now and check back when registration opens.

This year’s celebration is expanding beyond a one-day event into a full weekend experience for students, families, alumni, and friends. Families are invited to spend time on campus, enjoy special meals and entertainment, cheer on the Chargers, take part in festival-style activities, and close out Saturday evening with fireworks.

Arrival is from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Join us for a fun-filled day at the orchard with fellow alumni, friends, and family. Enjoy crisp autumn air, fresh apples, and seasonal treats in a beautiful farm setting.

Dr. Davies Farm has over 5,000 trees and 27 different varieties of apples on more than 65 acres. Picking poles are available to rent for those apples that are just a little too high to reach.

Admission Includes

  • 1 small apple bag
  • 1 scenic hayride to the pumpkin patch
  • 1 sugar pumpkin from the pumpkin patch
  • 1 apple cider doughnut
  • 1 bottled water

Join us for the 2026 Alumni & Friends Golf Outing, a day of golf, connection, and Charger pride at Blue Hill Golf Course.

This annual outing brings together Ä¢¹½APP New York alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and supporters for a memorable day on the course, followed by dinner, raffles, and the presentation of the Joe Clinton Charger Cup.

Golfer registration includes a boxed lunch, on-course beverages, and a BBQ dinner with open bar.

This year's outing will honor the life and legacy of Art Golden '84, a proud Dominican graduate and dedicated supporter of Ä¢¹½APP New York's Alumni Golf Outing. Art graduated from Dominican in 1984 and joined the Blauvelt Volunteer Fire Department in 1982, where he rose through the ranks and served as Chief from 1991 to 1993.

We are proud to remember Art's commitment to service, leadership, and community as we gather for this special day with alumni and friends.
